When we first met with Kara and her mother, we heard all about Kara’s amazing fiance, Dylan, who was in Japan serving in the U.S. Special Forces. When we finally got to meet Dylan during the engagement session, we agreed, he was definitely dreamy. Being able to capture their gorgeous wedding at St. Paul’s United Methodist Church and Hotel ZaZa, was like watching a romance movie in real life. They have since begun their new life together in Okinawa and Dylan was recently named “2016 Airman of the Year” by the Air Force Times. You can read his incredible story HERE and see some of our favorites from his and Kara’s wedding below. Huge thanks to Natalie Laskowski with Belle of the Ball for making the day so perfectly smooth! Louisiana State Representative Ted James and Veronica Moss were married by candlelight at the French-inspired Chateau Cocomar. Their incredible candlelit backdrop featuring over 2,000 candles, was inspired by a scene from Baz Luhrmann’s Romeo and Juliet. Ted and Veronica made their grand exit in Louisiana fashion with a second line led by a New Orleans jazz band. Coordination by Audi Brown of Occasions by Audi.
We rarely get the chance to attend a wedding as guests, and as much as I love the chance to partake in the festivities, I couldn’t imagine not shooting my sister’s wedding in Santorini, Greece. Danica and Jason were married at Le Ciel in the village of Imerovigli overlooking the breathtaking Caldera and Aegean Sea. It was an incredible day and an experience that I’ll never forget. We love you, Danica and Jason!
