Jigar & Sweta – New Orleans, Louisiana

I was so excited to have the chance to shoot Jigar and Sweta’s wedding in the French Quarter and it was everything I hoped it would be and more! Such a beautiful, emotion-filled day beginning with the ceremony in the morning and ending with an evening reception. One of the highlights for me was shooting the Baraat (groom’s family processional) down Canal Street. Everything was so vivid and it was spectacular to shoot, let alone witness. Above and beyond the wedding festivities, I just loved being there to watch Jigar and Sweta tie the knot. They are such kind, elegant people and I’ve truly enjoyed getting to know them during the planning process and our engagement session earlier in the year.  I can’t thank them enough for allowing us to capture their day!

Matt & Marissa – Houston, Texas

Photography is especially important for Matt and Marissa since Matt is a photographer in Philadelphia. As you would expect, I was honored to be chosen to capture their day. Under the creative direction of Alia with Belle of the Ball, Matt and Marissa’s wedding at River Oaks Garden Club was loaded with unique touches and color. The bright blue and yellow decor was irresistible so I couldn’t help but include a few set-up shots below.  Everything about the day was intimate, personal and relaxed since Matt and Marissa were entirely focused on each other and having the time of their lives with their closest friends and family. For me, it was one of my favorite weddings of the year!Morgan Lynn PhotographyThe salon was really crowded that morning and I just loved how these ladies looked together with their smocks and magazines…Morgan Lynn PhotographyMorgan Lynn PhotographyMorgan Lynn PhotographyMorgan Lynn PhotographyShot by Tammie belowMorgan Lynn PhotographyI prefer candids during the getting ready process but Marissa’s eyes looked amazing in the light…Morgan Lynn PhotographyMorgan Lynn PhotographyMorgan Lynn PhotographyThe guys took it pretty easy before the ceremony….Morgan Lynn PhotographyMorgan Lynn PhotographyShot by Tammie below. Rachel & Mike – Riviera Maya, Mexico

It feels like forever ago when Rachel first contacted me about their Riviera Maya wedding at Ceiba del Mar. It was actually during the week we were displaced after Hurricane Ike hit Houston. Since then, we have had the chance to meet up during a trip to San Francisco where they live and finally for the big wedding weekend. I’ve loved getting to know Rachel and Mike over the past year and was so excited to see everything come together perfectly for them. The wedding day began with an emotional Ketubah signing ceremony in the morning and ended with one of the most energetic receptions we’ve ever seen.  Here are a few favorites from their beautiful day…. Morgan Lynn Photography

Brittany & Comone – Houston, TX

Brittany and Comone have been together for more than 12 years so it was no surprise that guests came ready to celebrate.  But Brittany and Comone didn’t just put on a party, they showered their closest friends and family with their love and thoughtfulness.  Their ceremony was particularly intimate with handheld candles for each guest and seating in the round to bring everyone in close. From handmade venetian masks for the ladies to hand-rolled Cuban cigars for the gentlemen, Brittany and Comone put together an unforgettable night.  Their beautiful wedding took place at Paraiso Maravilla and was coordinated by the ever-creative Samantha at Soiree BLISS. Brittany and Comone are such beautiful people and I was honored to witness such a perfect day. If you have a chance, check out Wedding Nouveau, for a feature on Brittany and Comone’s wedding style.
