4 years ago today, I stepped out from the trees and onto a beautiful white sandy beach. Barefoot and dizzy with anticipation. Finally marrying the love of my life after 11 1/2 years together. It was perfect in every way and my only regret is that we can’t do it again and again every year. I’ve always felt so lucky in love–helplessly romantic, but not hopeless. I love you, Amir.
