Jigar & Sweta – New Orleans, Louisiana

I was so excited to have the chance to shoot Jigar and Sweta’s wedding in the French Quarter and it was everything I hoped it would be and more! Such a beautiful, emotion-filled day beginning with the ceremony in the morning and ending with an evening reception. One of the highlights for me was shooting the Baraat (groom’s family processional) down Canal Street. Everything was so vivid and it was spectacular to shoot, let alone witness. Above and beyond the wedding festivities, I just loved being there to watch Jigar and Sweta tie the knot. They are such kind, elegant people and I’ve truly enjoyed getting to know them during the planning process and our engagement session earlier in the year.  I can’t thank them enough for allowing us to capture their day!

Amir caught the below image of Jigar during the Baraat… It was especially funny in hindsight because a few people asked us if Jigar and Sweta were royalty while we were taking portraits in the French Quarter.

We snuck away for a few more portraits before the evening reception and caught a bit of twilight…

Wow you guys. You seriously did a fantastic job. Indian weddings can be challenging to shoot because there are so many important, festive, colorful things happening all at the same time. But you really got in there and pulled out some beautiful images.
