Tiffany & Nick – Ocho Rios, Jamaica

Destination weddings are always a little bit of an adventure. Amir and I had one ourselves, so we know all too well that you can only control so much and the rest is up to chance (and if you ask us, that’s what makes them so awesome). For a lot of couples, it’s liberating to get away and celebrate one of the most important days of their lives with friends and family in a new place. We were so excited when Tiffany and Nick asked us to capture their wedding in Ocho Rios and we loved getting to know them in Chicago last summer for their engagement session. They are one of the most adorable, fun-loving, and down-to-earth couples we’ve had the chance to work with and it made Jamaica even more fun to look forward to. It was no surprise that Tiffany and Nick’s friends and families are as fun and laid back as they are and the fact that the reception was rained out and moved to an indoor ballroom, didn’t phase anyone. To top off a perfect weekend, we were gifted with an incredible sunrise for our newlywed session a couple days later. Here are just a few of our favorites from the wedding at Riu Ocho Rios… beginning and ending with a few newlywed session shots.

WHAT is happening?! Sunset with the palms and the couple silhouetted on the beach is ridiculous. I want to buy 4×6 foot canvas of that. All the colors are incredible as well. Beautiful ceremony shot form above, Amir. Killer job!
